Sailing times for 2026
The Rutland Belle departs Whitwell (North Shore) on the hour and calls at Normanton (South Shore) at approx. 20 past. Round-trips take about 45 minutes; one-way trips 15–20 minutes. Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure from Whitwell.

Good to know
- Coach parties and disabled passengers should board at Whitwell. Maximum 6 wheelchairs per sailing — booking advisable. Lift (250kg SWL) at Whitwell only, for round-trips.
- The boat calls at Normanton for about 5 minutes. You can break your journey on the opposite shore for a minimum of one hour — except the last cruise of the day from Whitwell, which is round-trip only.
- Dogs welcome by prior arrangement.
